Guest speaker is 2015 Prime Minister’s Literary Awards winner; Michael Wilding, Emeritus Professor of English and Australian Literature, University of Sydney, who will be talking about his book ‘Wild Bleak Bohemia’. NBN sent a reporter to cover the 175th anniversary of Henry Kendall Cottage. It was a successful Gala Day thanks to the efforts of the Society’s organising team. The day also celebrated Henry Kendall’s 175th birthday. Published on 13 May 2014

The Brisbane Water Historical Society has in its rare 9.5mm film collection, three reels containing Home Movie footage of what is believed to be the SANDERS family. The are seeking help from anyone who might recognise the people in the film or just know of the Sanders family who lived on the Central coast in the early 1900s. Published on 13 May 2014
