Brisbane Water Historical Society
Founded in 1950, Brisbane Water Historical Society owns and maintains Henry Kendall Cottage and the Historical Museum complex.
The museum is also staffed by volunteers from the Society.

Mission Statement of the Brisbane Water Historical Society
To research and foster an interest in the history of the Brisbane Water area and Henry Kendall. To collect, preserve and exhibit objects that reflect the lifestyles and occupations of the residents. To promote activities amongst members and the community that foster an interest in history and the museum complex. To support other organisations with similar interests.
